What Do We Do?

Medical Ear Piercing (MEP) is the process of conducting a piercing using medical grade materials by a certified health care professional. The instruments we use to pierce do not come in contact with the ear. Only the sterile, single use cassette - which contain the piercing studs, touches the ear. We do not use the traditional piercing “gun”, rather a quicker, gentler and more hygienic medical instrument. This allows for faster healing and decreases the chance of infection. The earrings we offer are 100% nickel free medical grade plastic and 99.9% nickel free medical grade titanium - the same material used for surgical implants. Whichever one you pick, you can rest assured that they’re both safe and are of high quality materials for your little one. We trust this system so much, we had our baby girl get her ears pierced using this very method. Once you’re ready to switch the piercing studs out, we’re also here to provide you with long term earrings with the same benefits mentioned above.

Requirements:

• Any child, 4 months and older as long as they have received their 2 and 4 month Tetanus immunizations. 

• Parent/guardian present and able to hold child steady to ensure best results.

 

What we need from you: 

• Let us know if your child has any allergies or skin conditions. 

• Have a clean, clutter free space, with ample lighting for us to set up for the piercing process. 

• Make sure your child has had something to eat prior to the appointment.  

• Get familiar with the consent form you received in the confirmation email, as we will require you to sign it at the start of the appointment.
